Founded in 1861, we are a well-attended, friendly and welcoming Lodge, justly proud of our interesting and distinguished history. Our members maintain the proud traditions and standards of their forebears, playing an active part in their local community, including financial grants to causes and organisations who support the local population.
We meet and enjoy convivial company together. Practicing our rituals with new officers appointed each year, every member is given the opportunity to hold each progressive position in lodge, advancing their Masonic knowledge, culminating in becoming Master of the lodge. Through this elegantly guided process, comes self-knowledge, self-belief and self-confidence.
Looking for a break from the daily stresses of life? Would you like to spend time in uncompetitive good company, broadening your horizons and learning to be a more useful member of society? If friendship, self-improvement, charity, morality and equality interest you, our lodge would like to hear from you.
