The Rock Music Lodge No.10052, consecrated in 2024, is a unique Lodge celebrating rock music. Originating from the electrification of instruments, rock music evolved from American Southern Blues and Gospel into rock and roll in the 1950s and 1960s. It encompasses sub-genres like Rock and Roll, Blues, Folk and Country Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk Rock, and Progressive Rock, remaining influential in today’s music. Meeting quarterly in Alfreton, Derbyshire, the Lodge welcomes new candidates and members. Each festive board features live entertainment, resembling an “open mic” night.
Men with an interest in all things musical would be made welcome in our lodge.

Consecrated in 2022, Nomads Rugby Lodge No. 10015 is a special interest Lodge within the Province of Derbyshire, bringing together Freemasons with a shared passion for Rugby Union.
True to its name, Nomads has no fixed home, travelling to different Masonic venues for its meetings and often combining them with the opportunity to enjoy a local rugby match.
With friendship, teamwork and camaraderie at its heart, Nomads offers something a little different – combining the traditions of Freemasonry with the fellowship and spirit of rugby.

Musket, Pike & Drum (MPD) was consecrated as a Staffordshire Lodge in 2015. Following due process it became a Derbyshire Lodge in 2022. During this period (and this included the COVID-19 Lockdowns) our membership swelled by 43. Members span the country, Edinburgh to Alton, Exmoor to Kings Lynn, so we are somewhat peripatetic.
MPD, is a thriving Lodge that takes all new members on a Masonic journey; that, whilst furnishing enlightenment, also introduces them to a widening circle of new friends from all walks of life. Many have similar interests, others contribute in other ways. Charity, honesty, friendship and mutual support are all characteristics of the ‘family Lodge’ that is MPD.
MPD was formed as a ‘Specialist Lodge’ for those with an interest in history, but importantly, those within the hobby of historical re-enactment. Any one is welcome of course, and as the Lodge is buoyant and vibrant, we even have members who only became interested in re-enactment after joining!

Unity Lodge was formed in 1926 when the London, Midland & Scottish (LMS) Railway Co relocated its headquarters from London to Derby. The Founders were largely made up of London Masons who relocated to Derby at that time.
With the our Membership being varied all interests are welcomed (not just Railways). We have found that meeting on a Friday can be beneficial to those who are in a shift system of employment.
We are a Lodge with a wide and varied interest field (not just Railways!) and can offer new members new and interesting viewpoints on various subjects.

The Lodge was formed in 1919 by Officers of The Sherwood Foresters who wished to stay in touch after war. it very quickly became tri-service. In 1970 due to the lack of retiring servicemen the Lodge took the decision to allow men with no service background to join.
The newly joined members are given extra instruction on Lodge evenings and are encouraged to join practises when appropriate.
Whilst we are all Freemasons’ if you add the military ethos to the proceedings it makes a military Lodge just that little bit more special.
