The Provincial Grand Lodge of Derbyshire, in accordance with other Provinces,
supports local charities. A total of £350,000 was donated to non-Masonic
charities during 1998.
The Grand Charity Hospice project, which commenced in
1984, has now donated £2,100,000 to hundreds of hospices in England and Wales,
and recent grants to Derbyshire Hospices are:
