At the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Charity held on 17^th January 2002 the following grants were approved :-

	£1,000 to the Association of Friends of Devonshire Court, towards the purchase of a minibus to transport residents of this RMBI home.
	£500 to the son of a Derbyshire Mason to assist with the purchase of a disabled vehicle.
	£200 to the Ace Club for the Disabled in Chapel-en-le-Frith, to add to a grant of £100 made by High Peak Lodge.
	£350 to purchase prizes for a competition to be held in Derby by the Braille Chess Association.

Other News

The Masonic Province of Hampshire and Isle of Wight hold a holiday in Bournemouth each year, and the dates this year are between 5^th and 19^th July 2002. The holiday venue is the Pavilion Hotel, Bath Road, Bournemouth, and Lodges are asked to nominate deserving persons who will be accepted on a first come first served basis. This Province will be responsible for payment of any nominees.
