Charity is a major part of Freemasonry. In 1996 Dale Abbey Lodge were set a target of £12,000 to raise for the Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys, for the charity Festival in April 2003. Paul Riley, then the Charity Steward, announced that the target was exceeded, and sent his thanks to all those that contributed to this excellent effort.
