Ladies' Evening
Our Ladies evening is open to Masons and invited non-Masons
alike, and is usually held in April. It is a very good opportunity for wives of
Masons to meet each other, and for possible candidates to get a 'feel' for
Masonry. It is primarily, of course, a good evening out.
Male dress is black tie and dinner jacket, female dress is
equally formal. Email the
Secretary
for more information.
The next Ladies' Evening will be on
Saturday 21st April, at the Trent Lock Golf Club.

Widows' Lunch
Every year we organise a luncheon for widows of past members of
our lodge. It is held at Long Eaton Masonic Hall.

Lodge with Ladies
For the past few years we have held an
occasional event for the Ladies, who listen
to a talk or watch a demonstration from someone related to the Lodge on all
sorts of interesting topics. In the past we have had a flower arranging
demonstration, and an account of the activities behind winning a Gold Medal at
Chelsea Flower Show. In 2003 in February we had a
discussion and demonstration about the benefits of the Bowen technique, which is
a hands-on complementary therapy.
(You can see that some of the wives
are extremely talented!)
Meanwhile, the Masons hold their usual
ceremony and then join their Ladies for a lovely meal.
